MNPRO Timeline
ESTABLISHED AT UMN
The Center is created with a mandate from the Minnesota legislature to track chronic wasting disease (CWD) in cervids.
2019 FIELD BREAKTHROUGH
MNPRO deploys the first field-capable test for CWD, MN-QuIC.
2021EXPANSION
The Center expands to coordinate the multidisciplinary efforts of over 30 staff. MNPRO research now encompasses human protein diseases.
